With the release of Grads: Take Charge, it's now time to move on to the next book in our Take Charge™ series, Freshmen: Take Charge. If you've survived your freshmen year, or maybe several years of college, you probably have loads of advice to give those 'kids' who are getting ready to make the move from home to campus for the very first time.
We're looking for 40- to 55-word bits of advice to quote in this new book. If you get quoted, your name will appear along with your school name and year of graduation. And you'll get to put a nice bullet on your resume saying that you're published!
What kind of advice are we looking for? You name it! How to avoid the Freshman 15, not go broke, adjust to living with a roommate, survive exam week...anything goes. What mistakes do you see freshmen making? Share your wisdom to help them make good decisions and have a smooth transition to campus.
Do you like to write? Do you have some particularly valuable advice you'd like to give the Class of 2013 as they matriculate this Fall? We're also looking for a few people to write 500- to 600-word 'bonus chapters' for the book. Let us know about your interest and we'll work with you on your idea.
