I like your first year out of college because first year on your own is not necessarily true. Many college grads are moving home nowadays. And it's not the "real world" yet until you are on your own.

In that case, of the choices the one that sounds best to me is "Your First Year Out of College."

Looks like it's going to be a great product, I hope it has wild success!

In response to ZenCollegeLife.com:

Thank you for participating and giving us your feedback! I understand exactly where you're coming from with your comment about being short and sweet with the title. If this were a standalone book, something like Life After College would work very well.

We're looking at creating consistency for the entire Take Charge series, though, so it's becoming more clear what direction we need to take. The book for freshmen says 'Your First Year in College'; others in the series will be 'Your Last Year in High School' and 'Your Last Year in College'. These leave no doubt in anyone's mind, just based on the title, who, exactly, each book is aimed at.

We just got feedback at an event last night which confirms this--titles which include 'On Your Own' or 'in the Real World', left them unclear as to *which* kind of 'grads' the book isfor (high school, college, or some other kind of program).

Slowly, we're seeing the right direction to go with this and your feedback has been valuable. Thank you, again!

If we are being honest, I think they are all too long and lack simplicity. "Your first year..." seems like it could be shortened.

Plus, does the advice in this book really only apply to those who just graduated? It seems like you are going to limit the books success with this title.

How about something as simple as "Life After College." It says the same thing and doesn't limit sales to only those on their first year out of the college life.

In case this isn't the type of response you were looking for, sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes. I'm only trying to help. Take care!

I like "your first year on your own!" I think it fits best with the theme of taking charge.
