Just as we do with our new book series, The Smartest Thing I Ever Did...®, we want to choose one or two worthy non-profits to support by donating a portion of the proceeds from each QwikSmarts® sold.
So far, we have three organizations under consideration to receive the donation from the first book in our QwikSmarts® Take Charge series, Grads: Take Charge of Your First Year After College:
Junior Achievement (JA). JA Worldwide is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Check them out at www.JA.org.
National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). Through entrepreneurship education, NFTE, helps young people from low-income communities build skills and unlock their entrepreneurial creativity. Since 1987, NFTE has reached over 186,000 young people, and currently has programs in 21 states and 13 countries outside the U.S. NFTE has more than 1,000 active Certified Entrepreneurship Teachers, and is continually improving its innovative entrepreneurship curriculum.
